Planning application forms and requirements

Instead of downloading an application to send us in the post, we encourage you to apply online using the Planning Portal government website.

Using the table below, you can download the application forms, the accompanying form guidance notes and our local planning application requirements checklists.

The Council has approved a list of local planning application requirements which need to be submitted with your application to make the application valid.  These can be downloaded by clicking on the link below.  Please use the relevant checklist in the table below to indicate the information you have provided with your application.  The Council has produced general advice on submitting a planning application, following this advice will help to ensure there are no unnecessary delays in processing your application. 

Community Infrastructure Levy

The Mayor of London is introducing a Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) Charging Schedule.  With limited exceptions CIL will be payable on all developments granted full planning permission by the Council from 1 April 2012 involving an increase in net floorspace of over 100m2 or involving the creation of a new residential units.

Find details of the Mayoral CIL. The Council will be collecting the Mayoral CIL on behalf of the Mayor.

In order to enable the Council to calculate the amount of CIL accurately, applicants for relevant applications as indicated in the table below should download and complete a CIL additional information form and forward it to the Council with your planning application.

Plans

Every planning application needs a site location plan and block plan showing the location and boundaries of the site you are planning to work on. You can use the Planning Portal's 'Buy a Plan' service to ensure that you meet our requirements, whether you are a planning professional or first-time applicant.
