Resident permits
Replacing your permit
If your resident permit is lost or stolen or not received
Please complete a replacement/duplicate resident permit application form. An administration charge of £20 is made for processing replacement / duplicate permit applications.
The original permit must be surrendered. If the permit was lost or stolen, you will need to report this to the Police and obtain a lost property number or crime reference number, and provide us with the name of the police station to which it was reported. The application form gives advice on how to cover your vehicle until a duplicate permit is received. If the permit has been lost or stolen and you do not have a crime reference number, you will be asked for further information relating to the whereabouts of the permit / vehicle and checks may need to be carried out. This may delay your application.
If you have not received a permit following a recent postal application, no administration fee is applied. A duplicate permit request form must be submitted within 4 weeks of the permit issue date. After this time the administration fee for a lost or stolen permit will apply.
If you change your vehicle
Please complete a replacement/duplicate resident permit application form. You will need to supply proof of the new vehicle, as detailed on the form, and return your current permit with your application. The application form gives advice on how to cover your vehicle until a replacement permit is received. If your permit has expired, you should complete a renewal form in the usual way and supply proof of the new vehicle with your renewal application. An administration charge of £20 is made for processing replacement / duplicate permit applications.
If you change address
If you move to a different zone, please complete a replacement/duplicate resident permit application form and return your existing permit with your application. You will need to supply proofs of residence and vehicle ownership. Details of the proofs that new residents can supply are given in the guidance notes.
If you move address but stay within the same zone, please contact the parking Helpline for further advice, or contact us at permitprocessing@wandsworth.gov.uk.
You will be required to supply proof of residence and vehicle ownership at your new address when you renew your permit. An administration charge of £20 is made for processing replacement / duplicate permit applications.
