Pay and display charges
There are three main pay and display tariffs which apply in various locations throughout controlled parking zones (CPZs) in Wandsworth.
The pay and display machines accept 5p,10p, 20p, 50p, £1 and £2 coins, with a minimum charge of 10p, which will purchase a very short period of time. The machines do not give change.
You should always check the pay and display machine relevant to where your vehicle is parked for current information on the pay and display charges that apply. Arrows on the parking bay signs will direct you to the machine you should use.
Separate charges apply to the car parks within Battersea Park. Please see the Battersea Park CPZ map for details of the pay and display parking charges that apply there.
There is a pay-by-phone system available to pay and display visitors throughout the borough. Find out more about Parkmobile.
Standard tariff - £2.00 per hour
This tariff applies in the majority of shared use (permit holder/pay and display) parking bays in CPZs throughout the borough, which offer a maximum stay of 4 hours or more.
High tariff - £2.50 per hour
This tariff applies to shared use and pay and display only bays near town centres, where a shorter maximum stay (usually one or two hours) is available.
Low tariff - £1.00 per hour
This tariff applies to some shared use (permit holder/pay and display) and pay and display only parking bays that were identified as being under-used.
