Review of polling districts and polling places
Why did the review take place?
Each local authority is required by law to have a polling scheme which includes the review of all polling districts in a bid to identify more suitable venues and any possible problems encountered at existing polling places.
Wandsworth Council carried out a review of polling districts and polling places in the Borough, and these were adopted by the Council on 7 December 2011. The changes came into force on 3 January 2012.
Proposals
The Council's final proposals were submitted to the General Purposes Committee on 23 November 2011 in a report by the Chief Executive and Director of Administration and Returning Officer (Paper No. 11-858).

No representations were made to the Electoral Commission in the statutory 30 days after the Council approved the changes.
