Sports coaches needed

Are you a sports coach looking for work?

Are you available to deliver sessions during curriculum time or after school? We are committed to the provision and development of sport and physical activity. We require committed sports coaches to deliver quality sessions within schools and community groups to help increase the level of activity in the borough.

We are particularly keen on coaches who can teach:

  • Netball
  • Tag rugby
  • Hockey
  • Cricket
  • Basketball

Coaches

  • The main responsibilities of the coach will include planning, developing and delivering sessions within primary schools (predominantly 6-11 year olds) in the borough during curriculum time as well as after school clubs.
  • Must have a minimum of a National Governing Body Level 1 and/or Level 2 in the relevant sport.

Assistant coaches

  • Must have experience of working within a sports environment and be able to deliver to groups and individuals under supervision.
  • A National Governing Body Level 1 qualification is preferable. 

Hours of work

  • Coaching hours are subject to the demands of schools and other organisations and can be variable/limited. Occasional weekend work may be required.
