Primary Capital Programme

The Primary Capital Programme is similar to the Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme but for primary schools. The aims of the programme mirror those of BSF in providing fully equipped schools for the 21st Century at the heart of their community.

Investment for these plans will come through the Government's Primary Capital Programme. We hope to receive funding in the region of £46m over 14 years and by joining up funding with other sources, a potential £75m.

Primary Strategy for Change

Following a consultation the Council drew up a Primary Strategy for Change. This document outlines the investment priorities for the borough's primary schools.
