New catholic school planning application

As part of the Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme an outline planning application was submitted for a new Catholic School in Battersea.

The new school, named Saint John Bosco, will specialise in business and modern languages and include state of the art ICT (information communication technology), a new sixth form, a business and enterprise skills centre and a resource base.  You can find more information by following the link to the Salesian website www.salesiancollege.co.uk

An open session was held at Salesian College on 2 April 2009 to view the plans and for the BSF team to answer any questions.

The council's planning committee approved the plans on 25 June 2009.
