From February 2009, the Student Finance Section is responsible for the administration of applications and financial assessments from students who:
- started their courses before September 2009 and are continuing on the same course; and
- are thinking of going into further education.

Update 2010/11
Due to changes in the way student finance is processed, the Student Finance Section will only be dealing with applications from students who started their course before September 2009.
Applications for students who are starting a new course in 2010/11 or continuing a course started in 2009/10 should make their applications online at Student Finance England at www.direct.gov.uk/studentfinance or call the Customer Support Office at 0845 300 5090.
Unfortunately the Student Finance Section is unable to offer support, advise or accept any supporting documents for applications being processed by Student Finance England.
