Chantelle's Community Kitchen

Free pre-packed, nutritious, homemade meals to take away or eat in (donations appreciated if you feel able).

Chantelle’s Community Kitchen always welcomes new volunteers, with or without cooking experience. There are a variety of roles to fill in the friendly kitchen on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Brunch Café

A new brunch café is brought to you by Chantelle's Community Kitchen. Join us for a free light lunch. Donations are appreciated if you feel able.

Weekly women's coffee morning

SW15 Women's Network invites you to a free weekly women's coffee morning.

Our coffee mornings provide you with an opportunity to take a break, meet new friends and find out what's going on in your local community.

Up to date information on activities and services for women and families is provided.

Enjoy free refreshments and arts and crafts. Children are welcome.

Egg-tastic event

You are invited to attend an Egg-tastic event, hosted jointly by the Alton Regeneration team and Roehampton Library. There will be crafting and a scavenger hunt.

  • Date: Wednesday 3 April
  • Time: Between 3 and 4pm for the under 5s. Between 4 and 5pm for the over 5s. If you have children in both age groups, please attend the session from 3 to 4pm.

Metal Detector Club

It's the school holidays, which means it's time for Metal Detector Club! Metal detectors and spades will be provided. The event will be followed by refreshments.

Spreading the joy (across the universe)

Group 64 Theatre for Young People is presenting a new professional show for children.

Spreading the joy is suitable for children aged three to eight.

Dons Fit - women only

We are excited to share news of a new, free 10-week female fitness programme run by AFC Wimbledon Foundation.

Going back to my youth

You are invited to revisit your youth and get into the groove! If you're over 60, you can join DJ Decades for a trip through the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s.

Community Engagement Action Plan

In January 2024 the Alton Regeneration Team published the Alton Engagement Action Plan 2023/24 which sets out the large number of engagement activities which took place over the previous 12 months and identifies some further activities for the next 12 months.

The Alton Engagement Plan is updated annually. Further ideas and activities will be developed with the community as the year proceeds.
