Nationality Document Return Service (NDRS)

The Nationality Document Return Service (NDRS) copies your documents and sends them to the Home Office, enabling you to keep your originals, including your passport. This service is for people who have made an online application using the AN or MN1 form.

You can apply for the Joint Citizenship and Passport (JCAP) service if you use this service.

Nationality Checking Service (NCS)

The Nationality Checking Service (NCS) checks completed paper application forms for British Citizenship.

You cannot apply for the Joint Citizenship and Passport service if you use this service.

Joint Citizenship and Passport Service (JCAP)

The Joint Citizenship and Passport Service (JCAP) is a new initiative set up between the Home Office and the Passport Office. It allows new citizens to apply for their passport at the same time as naturalisation.

European Passport Return Service (EPRS) 

The European Passport Return Service (EPRS) copies your passport and sends your application for Permanent Residence (PR EEA) to the Home Office, enabling you to keep your original passport.

Citizenship ceremonies

Once you have received notification from the Home Office you must take an oath in a ceremony at Wandsworth Town Hall. Find out what to expect from the ceremony.
