How to apply for Paperless Visitor Permit (PVP)
Sign into your account or register to apply.
To access your online account, you will need to know your:

- password - forgot password?
Help is available if you need assistance completing the online application.
You will need to provide proof of residence to confirm your entitlement to buy the permit, unless you already hold a valid resident permit.
You cannot buy any permits until your proof of residence or existing permit details have been verified and your account has been authorised. Once your account is authorised it will be available for you to purchase and activate permits as required. We aim to process applications within two working days.
Non-resident permit holders will be required to re-submit proof of residence every 12 months.
Apply online at the Customer Centre
You can apply online at the self service area in the Customer Centre. Here we can help you to use the online facilities.
You will need to bring the required documents with you.
How to pay
Permits are purchased by 'topping up' your account. You can pay for a permit online in advance and activate it when required. Any payment made for PVPs is not refundable.
How to use a PVP
You need to activate the permit online before your visitor's arrival. You can do this by signing into your account and selecting ‘Activate Paperless Visitor Permit One Day Zone’ from the homepage. The registration number of the relevant vehicle must be entered when you activate the permit.
Each activated permit is only valid for one day in the sub-zone in which you live and is only valid for one vehicle.
