Help with applying online for a residents' parking permit

Step 1: Register for an account

Visit wandsworth.gov.uk/permits

If you are already setup with an account, log into your account and skip to Step 2.

Step 1 if you are a new user, register for an account

Click the 'Please register here' link

Select 'Private Individual' and then click the 'Continue' button.

Select 'Private Individual' and then click the 'Continue' button.

Enter your details: fields with an asterisk are mandatory.

Enter your personal details details. The fields with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.

Type in your Main Address 'Postcode' and click 'Find address'.

Select your address from the list.

Select your address from the list provided and the following screen will appear.

Click the save button to confirm your address.

Click the 'Save' button.

You have now successfully registered an account.  Your user name and password will have been emailed to the email address you provided.

Click the 'Continue' button to go to the online permit account homepage.

Stage 2: Apply for a permit

'Apply for a permit' either via your left hand side menu bar or on the quick actions list.

Select 'Apply for a permit', either from the left hand menu or from the 'Quick actions' list.

Select the type of permit you would like to apply for.

Read the guidance notes and at the bottom of the page click 'Start Application'.

Select 'Permit period'

Select 'Start Date' the date you would like your permit to start.

The 'End Date' will be automatically calculated depending on how many months you have applied for.

Type in your Vehicle Registration Number (VRN) and repeat the VRN.

Next select what 'Proof of residency' you hold. Select one of the items below:

Scroll down the page, next select what 'Proof of vehicle ownership' you hold.

Select on one of the items as listed below.

Select the type of vehicle for the license

Scroll down the page, next read and tick box after reading the declaration.

Check the box to complete the declaration

Scroll down the page, to browse and attach your proofs.

Select 'Browse' to upload your scanned document.

Click on 'Document Type' and select the type of proof you are providing.

Select 'Upload Document'.

Repeat the process for your second proof.

Upload your second document

Select 'Next' at the bottom of the page.

Select Yes to continue

Select 'Yes' if you would like to continue.

Step 3: Payment details

Payment options: 	Click on either the options above, depending on whether you have used this site previously

Select your card type and type in your card details where prompted to do so.

Once completed you will receive a confirmation email that your pre-payment has been successful and that your application is in the queue to be processed.

Step 4: Permit approved

If your application is approved you will receive email confirming this and confirmation that your permit will be sent to your home address within 2 working days.
