Gambling policy
The Gambling Act 2005 requires us to publish a Gambling Licensing Policy statement every three years. The current Statement of Policy and Principles took effect from 31 January 2019. and will expire on 30 January 2022.
The Statement of Principles 2022-2025 has now been reviewed in accordance with requirements of the Gambling Act 2005 and was adopted at the Full Council meeting on 15 December 2021. This revised Gambling Statement of Principles, (our policy statement) sets out our policy for dealing with applications and regulating gambling premises within the Borough and will come into effect on the 31 January 2022.
Notice of Publication of Statement of Principles 2022-2025
Public Notice of the Council’s intention to publish its Statement of Principles under the Gambling Act 2005. The Statement of Principles will take effect on the 31 January 2022.
