Nine Elms developers sponsor architectural festival
The Nine Elms Partnership has been named as a main sponsor for this year’s London Festival of Architecture.
London Festival of Architecture
The annual festival takes place between 1 - 30 June 2016 and will see more than 200 events taking place across the capital. Exploring the theme 'community', the London Festival of Architecture 2016 will connect with as many people as possible, in ways that demonstrate architecture’s relevance to London and its diverse communities.
Ballymore, Battersea Power Station, CLS, Downing, St Modwen, Bellway, St James, Berkeley and Tideway from the Nine Elms Partnership will host a series of events which include walking tours, architect talks, installations and a boat tour in venues across Nine Elms.
The Nine Elms Partnership was created in 2010 to coordinate and drive forward the transformation of an entire district of Central London. Co-chaired by the leaders of Wandsworth and Lambeth Council, it includes the area’s main developers and landowners, the Mayor of London, Transport for London and the Greater London Authority, and is responsible for setting and delivering the strategic vision for the area, including the £1 billion infrastructure investment package.
