Hundreds of local businesses turn out for the borough’s third Enterprise Week

Wandsworth Enterprise Week 2016 saw more than 800 businesses attend dozens of events and workshops across the borough. Participating organisations included:

  • Virgin Start up
  • Google
  • NCASS
  • General Assembly
  • NatWest
  • GLE Connect

Women’s Enterprise Day

One of the key events was Women’s Enterprise Day, which featured talks by local businesses women and a motivational talk by serial entrepreneur and author Lynne Franks. Paola Galli & Rhoda Fairbairn who the event said, “Women’s Enterprise Day was a really well-organised event. All the speakers were inspiring and informative and gave you hope. The interaction between the women here has been positive and encouraging.”

Wandsworth Business Forum 

Another highlight event was the Wandsworth Business Forum which saw close to 240 attend the Wandsworth Business Forum to hear talks by Charlie Mullins, founder of Pimlico Plumbers and marketing and branding expert Rafe Offer. The event, took place at China Boulevard with music provided by students from the World Heartbeat Academy.
