Balham gears up for its annual food festival
The festivities kick off with the Balham Banquet, a fun-filled day for the whole family, which takes place on Sunday 22 September, between 11am and 5pm on Hildreth Street and Bedford Hill Place.
Visitors have the opportunity to sample street food delicacies and alfresco bars from more than 30 local stallholders and restaurants. Entertainment will be provided by Wandsworth Radio and there's a Kids Zone for the little ones.
Local businesses taking part include; Balham Baptist Church, Bodeans BBQ, Brindisa, Bucci Restaurant, Deelight Bakery, Escape the Daily Grind, Franco Manca, Gazette, Goose Island, Haché Burgers, Hagen & Hyde, Indian Room and The Regent.
Throughout the week, members of the public will be able to take advantage of great deals, discounts and offers from Balham food businesses which will promoted on the event website. Businesses wanting to take part still have time to do so, but need to be quick.
We would like to thank our sponsor without whom we would be unable to run the event; The Dentist, Places for People, Sambrook’s Breweries and media partners Harden’s and NappyValleyNet.com
The Balham Food Festival takes place Monday 25 September to Sunday 1 October. The event is supported by Balham Partnership and Wandsworth Council.
