Young people seeking experiences of the world of work… can you help?
Work experience enables businesses to build relationships with young people while they are at school. It helps young people understand routes into employment, learn about different work environments and focus on getting the skills and qualifications they need to get on.
Most London employers agree that providing work experience is a good thing and offering work experience programmes can improve the employability of young people for everyone.
Wandsworth Business & Education Succeeding Together (BEST) is again seeking local employers support to deliver the 2017-18 work experience programme.
They work with local schools and colleges and provide over 1300 young people with inspiring experiences of work every year. The programme runs for the whole academic year and students are aged 14 to 18. For some, this is their very first exposure to the world of work whereas others are looking for a specific sector of work such as sport, IT or retail.
If you can offer any type of work experience at all, please get in touch with:
