Employment Land Study

Consultants DTZ were commissioned to undertake an Employment Land and Business Premises Study for the Borough to better understand the balance between demand and supply for employment space and the market forces operating behind this.

The study looked at the role of industrial land in the Borough in the light of market trends and the findings have informed the review of planning policies and employment area boundaries in the Local Development Framework Core Strategy.

The study provides an updated picture of supply and requirements to the previous Employment Land Review, which was undertaken by Roger Tym and Partners in 2004.
