Sustainable Travel Active Responsible Safe (STARS) accreditation programme

STARS is a programme introduced by Transport for London to recognise schools' achievements and to encourage further development of school travel plans.

Schools can work towards bronze, silver or gold accreditation.

The 3 levels of accreditation require schools to demonstrate different levels of good practice and travel behaviour change.

34 schools achieved STARS accreditations in 2015.

  • 28 Schools have achieved Bronze level accreditation
  • 3 Schools who achieved Silver level accreditation in 2015
  • 3 Schools who achieved Gold level accreditation in 2015
