How we are helping reduce Wandsworth's environmental impacts
Our Greener Borough (OGB) is a council initiative set up to help reduce Wandsworth's environmental impacts. It is made up of individual schemes focusing on schools, residents, businesses and community groups.
What you can do
Are you a resident?
Have you got a green idea that needs funding?
- The council's Eco Fund could help. Get information from the Project Dirt or submit an application
Are you a Green Champion?
- We hold regular Green Champions Awards to recognise the most eco-friendly schools, groups and individuals in the borough.
Are you a school?
Are you a business?
- The Greening Business programme offers free support to small Wandsworth businesses to help them go green and save money.
Are you a charity or community organisation?
Get in touch. If you are planning a green event such as a litter-pick or a Give and Take Day and would like to tell us about it or request support (for example, flyers about the recycling service), email greenpledge@wandsworth.gov.uk.Capital Clean-Up has free clean-up kits for organisations and schools who want to organise events during their annual summer campaign.
