London Youth Games

The 2015 London Youth Games is Europe’s largest youth sports event involving all 33 London boroughs competing against each other in over 30 sports to become Champions of London. 2015 is the 38th year of the competition; Team Wandsworth has done extremely well over the last few year, winning the competition in 2013 and 2014.

Team Wandsworth – Who can take part?

The Games are open to all young people aged between 9 and 18 years old who either live or attend a school in Wandsworth. We run trials and training sessions for nearly all of the sports, please look at schedule and contact lyg@wandsworth.gov.uk for more information. Please bear in mind there are different age bands for each sport.

Great start to the 2015 Games for Wandsworth

The Cross Country competition was the first event of the 2015 London Youth Games campaign. Over 50 athletes represented Wandsworth at the event in Parliament Hill. All athletes did the Borough proud, winning first overall in the girl’s competition and 4th in boys. Great start to this years Games, well done to all involved!
