Join our guided walks

The council, with NHS Wandsworth, has organised a series of walks to help you get fitter and healthier.
- The guided walks are led by trained walk leaders who can advise and guide you towards building up your physical activity at a pace that suits you.
- The walks are free and you don't need to book, just turn up. But it is useful for us to know in advance if you will be atttending.
Current walks
- Battersea Park - Tuesdays 10.30-11.30am. Meet at Albert Bridge Gate.
- Clapham Common - Monday to Friday 7.30-8.30am. Meet by the green at Wix Lane School on Wix's Lane.
- Clapham Common - Wednesdays 5-5.45pm. Meet at the Bandstand.
- Tooting Common - Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 7.30-8.30am. Meet at the bench near the tennis courts.
What else do I need to know?
- Please arrive 5 minutes before the walk is due to start.
- New walkers will need to fill out a health questionnaire (so that your leader is aware of any health problems).
- Wear comfortable walking shoes, and bring a bottle of water and an extra item of clothing.
- The walking timetable is subject to change.
