Sports funding and policy

Sports funding

We work with a wide range of organisations, sports clubs, coaches, volunteers, schools, community groups and facilities to deliver sports in Wandsworth.

Getting funding

There are a variety of funding sources that clubs, coaches, schools, community groups and individual sports people can access to help improve opportunities and the provision of sport within the borough.

The council offers two types of sports grants - the Active Wandsworth Sports Grants Fund and the Active Wandsworth Club Development grant.

For a list of funding opportunities available visit Pro-Active Central London Partnership's funding opportunities section of their website.

Find out more about funding opportunities available nationally from Sport England's funding section of their website.
