Wandsworth has seven special schools (including one out of borough residential school in Kent) as well as eleven specialist units in mainstream schools, catering for a wide range of special educational needs.
These include schools for pupils with autism and learning difficulties, emotional and behavioural difficulties, hearing and visual impairment and physical disabilities.
