Register to tip - use of vehicles
You can take your car to either of the sites free of charge. If you are going to be using a van to dispose of your household waste, you will need to register your details at the WRWA site. Or please phone (020) 8871 8558.
If you use a van, you must bring with you the following:
- A recent household bill or your driving licence
- A note of the make, model and registration number of the van
- Vehicle registration or hire agreement documents
- Something with your signature on (driving licence, credit card or passport)
Please note
- You have to register at least 24 hours in advance.
- Vehicles will only be registered to tip non-commercial refuse
- To tip rubbish generated from a business you must pay at the WRWA weigh-bridge
- It can be a criminal offence to misuse a free tipping docket or tip commercial refuse without paying
- A video record may be made of anyone registering to tip
