How much does it cost to run the service?
Since 2008 we have been participating in a national benchmarking survey designed to create comparative cost data with other boroughs that offer a similar service.
We will publish further details regarding this when the information becomes available.

How does our collection performance compare to other London boroughs?
The
result of a recent survey showed that, on average, London boroughs
collected 87.6% of debt raised in 2006/07. We collected 91.2% for the
same period.

It
is very difficult for us to provide comparisons across a range of
services are they are not always identical in what they offer; however here's an example of how our social care charges compare to other
boroughs.
