Register office wedding costs
Fees are payable for:
Giving notice of marriage (fee not refundable if the marriage does not take place) - £33.50 each party.
The marriage ceremony at:
- The Register Office - £40 plus certificate fee £3.50
- The marriage certificate - £3.50 each
- Webcast £45
- Podcast £30
Your friends and families living abroad can watch your special day and share in your celebrations online.
Fees for marrying in approved premises are set by the local authority. All other fees are set by Parliament and are regularly reviewed.
