Library Review Consultation
The council's Report (No. 11-260) on the future of its libraries went to the Environment, Culture and Community Safety Overview and Scrutiny Committee on Monday 28 February.
The report details the extensive feedback from the Consultation that was carried out between 9 December 2010 - 6 February 2011 with users, stakeholders and staff. Twelve hundred survey forms were returned as well as letters and emails.
The report proposes revised opening hours/closed days for all libraries, except Tooting which remains unchanged, and an option to continue a library service for children and a space for hire at York Gardens in partnership with the community and volunteers.
The report can also be viewed in each library in Wandsworth.
