Fairer charging consultation
Overview
The Council's existing policy on Fairer Charging for Adult Social Services requires updating in light of the implementation of personal budgets.
We will be asking a wide range of people and organisations their views on the proposed changes. This will include service users, carers, and other interested organisations. We will take this feedback and use it to develop the new charging policy.

If you would like to comment on the changes, please complete the feedback form and return by Tuesday 25 January 2011.

What happens next
Once we have gathered your feedback, a report will be presented to Members of the Council to make a final decision early in 2011. A decision will be made and a new charging policy written by March 2010 to come into effect from 1 April 2011. This will then be communicated to all service users.
