Pest Awareness Workshop
Overview
Pests cause damage to food and property, loss of profits and cause disease. This workshop is designed to help make food business managers and food handlers aware of pests and how to avoid pest problems.
Outline programme
The training programme covers the following topics:
- Types of Pests
- Signs of Pest activity and contamination
- Practical Pest prevention methods
Qualification information
Attendees will receive a Certificate issued by Wandsworth Council which will contribute to your Food Safety Management System and would demonstrate a commitment to staff training, particularly on this important subject.

Minimum 3 hours (>ie half day workshop)

Assessment method
There is no formal assessment but candidates who satisfactorily complete the workshop will attain a Certificate.
