We have looked at the key areas identified by the needs assessments we and our partners have conducted and reviewed what our residents and local businesses have told us. Based on this we have developed a set of equality objectives. The table below shows these objectives, how we will measure progress and the needs assessment or plan where further information can be found.

Although we will have a set of equality objectives, work to eliminate unlawful discrimination, advance equality of opportunity and foster good relations will not be discontinued and measures to monitor this work will continue to be built into the Council's and its partners' plans.

We will report on progress against these objectives annually on our equality information page.
