Pollution prevention and control

Companies carrying out processes that could potentially cause emissions to either air, land or water must hold a permit. To find out whether or not your company needs to apply for a permit please visit DEFRA's website, or contact the Environment Team on 020 8871 8196.

Fees

Fees for Environmental permits are set by Central Government. You are advised to contact the Environment Team on 020 8871 8196 to confirm the current fee before submitting your application. Any company, which already holds a permit and wishes to vary the permit conditions or wishes to make a change to their installation may apply to do so by completing the relevant application form.
