Standards in Public Life
The Council is looking for two local people interested in serving as independent members of its Standards Committee.
This is an important body concerned with promoting and maintaining high standards of conduct among our elected Councillors and co-opted Members of council committees
You should have an understanding of ethical issues facing public organisations, good committee skills and the ability to think in a logical and unbiased manner.
As this is an independent position, you should not be a member of any political party.
