If you want to comment on or make a complaint about services you have received from your local health services, or simply want further information, the Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) for the relevant NHS Trust should be your first port of call.

These services are managed by the NHS Trusts, and exist to help patients in their dealings with the Trust.

Independent support for pursuing formal complaints

If you want independent support to pursue a formal complaint about the health service, you should contact the Independent Complaints and Advocacy Service run by the Citizens Advice Bureaux, on 0845 120 3784.
