Paying your Council Tax

When you call, please ensure that you have your debit/credit details and council tax account number easily to hand. If you are paying by credit card please note there is a service charge of 1.4%. There will be no charge for debit cards.
Your telephone call should last approximately two minutes. You will need to have a touch tone telephone to use this service.

Cheques and postal orders should be made payable to 'Wandsworth Council'.
Please also write your name, address and Council Tax account number on the reverse of your cheque or postal order and ask for a receipt, if required, when paying by cheque.
At a Post Office or PayPoint location
You can pay your Council Tax at a Post Office or at a Paypoint facility.
Payment can be made by cash at any PayPoint outlet anywhere in the country and you can pay by cash or cheque at any Post Office.
Debit cards are not accepted.
