Parking on estates

What happens if you are clamped or towed away

Before clamping or removing your vehicle the contractor will have taken dated and timed photographs. If your vehicle has been clamped, a sticker on your vehicle window will give information on how to get the clamp released and where to pay the release fee. Clamped vehicles can be removed to the contractor's pound after 48 hours and storage costs will be incurred for vehicles that are not collected.

Signs around the estate give details of the contractors 24-hour contact telephone number: 0870 444 3838.

The contractor's staff should all wear a uniform and carry a photographic identity card at all times.

Who deals with disputes?

Whenever possible the contractor will attempt to answer any enquiry or resolve a dispute. Should you be dissatisfied with the response you can refer the matter to the relevant area Housing team or managing agent and your complaint will be promptly investigated.

You are always advised to make payment first and dispute the matter afterwards to avoid additional charges building up. If your complaint is upheld you will receive a refund.
