Waste: information for businesses

Site Waste Management Plans (SWMP)

What are SWMPs?

SWMPs are a legal requirement in England for all construction projects begun after 6 April 2008 and worth over £300,000.

They are much more than just a way of ensuring waste is removed from site.

As well as making sure you are legally compliant, using them will help achieve resource efficiency and cost benefits for your organisation.
