We support employment and training services, primarily for unemployed people in Wandsworth, through commissioning and working in partnership with national agencies and local organisations.
We also maintain regularly updated unemployment statistics and a Directory of Training and Employment Support in Wandsworth.

Wandsworth Employment and Skills Partnership
In 2008, we established the Wandsworth Employment and Skills Partnership (WESP), chaired by the Cabinet Member for Regeneration & Community Safety.
The groups's purpose is to provide a strategic overview of training and employment support provision in the borough. This reflects local needs and aspirations as well as establishing a local consensus on the future needs and provision of support in order to address the key worklessness targets of the Wandsworth Local Strategic Partnership (WLSP).
The members of the WESP include representatives of the Jobcentre Plus (JCP), London Development Agency (LDA), Primary Care Trust (PCT); local voluntary and commercial organisations providing training & employment support as well as South Thames College and Roehampton University together with other Council departments.
