Economic Profile - Unemployment

3.8% of Wandsworth's usual resident population was unemployed, according to the 2011 UK Census (compared with a London average of 5.2% and national average of 4.4). Of the 16-24 age group, 5.4% were unemployed, compared with 7.0% in London and 7.5% nationally. The proportion of residents aged 16 to 24 who were unemployed increased from 4.8% in 2001 to 5.4% in 2011.
