Benefits Online Services is the fastest and easiest way for you to apply for and manage your benefit/reduction.
Calculate an estimate of your entitlement to Housing and Council tax Reduction with our online calculator, or proceed immediately to make a claim.
The calculator is only an estimate, based on the information you supply and not all circumstances are covered.
Claiming your housing benefit or council tax reduction
Once you have finished calculating your estimate, you can put in a claim for Housing Benefit or Council Tax Reduction. There are instructions and an online application form at the end of the calculator.
Private tenants
Private tenants need details of the Local Housing Allowance Scheme to calculate an estimate.
Council or Housing association tenants
Council or Housing Association tenants may require information on social sector size criteria.
What else is there?
- Calculate an estimate of your benefit/award.
