In the June 2010 Budget the Government announced a package of reforms to housing benefits and other welfare reforms that will start to come into effect from April 2011.
These changes will affect many residents in Wandsworth who claim Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit. Wandsworth Benefits Service will be looking carefully at the Budget and the changes to legislation it contains so that we can implement them efficiently and ensure that you are informed of how they may affect your claim.
