Albert Bridge - pedestrian access only
Albert Bridge has a narrow pedestrian access, please allow plenty of
time to get to Battersea Park.
Alternative routes
Use Chelsea Bridge or Battersea Bridge to continue your journey to Battersea Park. Albert Bridge will remain open to pedestrians and cyclists, though cyclists must dismount while crossing the bridge.
- There will be one way pedestrian access over Albert Bridge, Southbound towards Battersea Park from 7pm.
- There will be one way pedestrian access over Albert Bridge, Northbound towards Chelsea from 8.30pm.
Southern train services
To ensure everyone's safety and security while travelling to Battersea Park fireworks display, Southern train services will be making changes to its services that call at Battersea Park station. To prevent congestion and overcrowding, trains travelling towards Victoria will not stop at Battersea Park station between 6pm and 8pm.
During this time, you must travel on services to Victoria Station. Additional train services and special directional arrangements will be in place for the first returning service from Victoria to Battersea Park. Please allow extra time for your journey. Please note that crowd management arrangements will be in place at Battersea Park station from 6pm to 10pm.
