The Fireworks
Battersea Park will host its annual fireworks display on Saturday 7 November 2009. This year's event has been designed by the internationally renowned Pains Fireworks www.painsfireworks.co.uk. It's a 'Love Theme' with flames, fireworks and pyrotechnics digitally choreographed to music, sound and light in the beautiful location of Battersea Park. Everybody loves Battersea Park Fireworks so this year our theme is 'Love'.
Timings
- 6pm - Gates, bar, food court and glow products open
- 7.30pm - Bonfire lit
- 8pm - Fireworks
The food
A large food court and bar will open at 6pm to fulfill all of your food desires, with an international bbq, hot dogs, roasted chestnuts, amongst others and of course mulled wine and beer can be bought at the bar. Check out the bar and food court menus.
Tickets
£6, under 10s £1
You can buy tickets at the gate, or in advance on 0845 070 6870 or from the Events Group web site (£1 booking fee per transaction).

Charity
The Wandsworth Group of Rotary Clubs will be collecting on the night for Help for Heroes www.helpforheroes.org.uk
Information about Southern train services
To ensure everyone's safety and security while travelling to Battersea Park fireworks display, Southern train services will be making changes to its services that call at Battersea Park station. To prevent congestion and overcrowding, trains travelling towards Victoria will not stop at Battersea Park station between 6pm and 8pm. During this time, you must travel on services to Victoria Station. Additional train services and special directional arrangements will be in place for the first returning service from Victoria to Battersea Park. Please allow extra time for your journey. Please note that crowd management arrangements will be in place at Battersea Park station from 6pm to 10pm.
