Continuing professional development for schools

As part of our commitment to meet continuing professional development needs, we evaluate the impact of centrally-based CPD activities.  Our aim is to use the information provided to improve the quality of CPD we offer. Evaluation will assist schools' self-review activities.

All course participants are asked to complete a feedback sheet at the end of each training session. This gives us information about the quality of provision on the day. In addition, we evaluate the impact of each session on teaching, learning and pupils' achievement and do this by collecting information from 50% of the attendees from each CPD session.
