Wandsworth Housing Market Assessment

The Council has prepared annual assessments of housing need since 1996.  In 2007, Communities and Local Government (CLG) published guidance on carrying out Strategic Housing Market Assessments (SHMA), to assess housing need and demand across all tenures to inform Local Development Framework planning policies. 

The 2008 Housing Market Assessment was prepared in line with SHMA guidance.  In 2009 an update report was published which updated key elements of the 2008 Housing Market Assessment.
