Recycling at blocks of flats 

 

If your rubbish is collected in large, wheeled bins we provide wheeled recycling banks at blocks of flats for residents' use.

The orange banks can be used to recycle everything that can be recycled in the orange sack scheme.

Do you live in a block of flats or shared house with a shared rubbish bin but no recycling?

If so, ask your estate manager to contact us - (020) 8871 8558 or wasteservices@wandsworth.gov.uk - to install a recycling bank; or you can contact us with their details.   

Reusable bags 

If you would like a strong reusable bag for carrying recycling to the orange-lidded recycling banks email wasteservices@wandsworth.gov.uk or call (020) 8871 8558. If you live on a large estate you may want to get in touch with other residents or your estate manager to arrange a big order.

Small numbers can sometimes be delivered, however we usually ask that you come and pick them up from the Waste Services reception on Fairfield Street at the Town Hall, SW18 2PU.

Recycling signs

We have a supply of signs to help remind residents to recycle using the orange-lidded banks.  These were funded by the London Waste and Recycling Board and are being placed in refuse chambers and by refuse chutes at council-managed blocks.
