Examination
The Council submitted its Development Management Policies Document (DMPD) and Site Specific Allocations Document (SSAD) to the Secretary of State on 27 May 2011. An Inspector has been appointed to determine whether the documents are sound.
Timetable
Public Hearing Sessions are currently programmed to take place on 27, 28, 29 September and 11, 13 October at the Town Hall. Guidance notes, the Inspector's List of Matters and Issues, Hearing Session Timetable and List of Participants are available for download here.

Detailed agendas for each Hearing Session will be published here as they become available.
None of the representors who indicated that they wished to be present for discussions of the matters to be considered at the final hearing session originally scheduled for 14:15 on 13 October now wish to appear. As a result that session has been cancelled and the Inspector will deal with the remaining matters by way of an exchange of written representations with the Council.
Programme Officer
Andrea Copsey has been appointed as the Programme Officer for the Examination and will deal with all related procedural, administrative and programming matters under the direction of the Inspector, Barry Juniper BSc, DipTP, MRTPI.
