Commissioning of non-public health services in Wandsworth is led by the Wandsworth Clinical Commissioning Group.
Wandsworth Clinical Commissioning Group is responsible for commissioning or 'buying' healthcare services for the people who live or work in the borough.
A group of 43 GP practices work together with partners in the local NHS - pharmacists, dentists, hospitals and mental health providers, Wandsworth Council and local community groups, to improve health and wellbeing, reduce health inequalities and ensure everyone has equal access to healthcare services.
Other services are provided by NHS Trusts. The main NHS Trusts in Wandsworth are- St George's Healthcare NHS Trust, which runs St George's Hospital
- South West London and St George's Mental Health NHS Trust, which runs Springfield Hospital and community-based mental health services
