Local Leaders
Local people are being invited to become Local Leaders.
If you're planning an event and sign up to be a Local Leader you'll get celebration tools, the chance to profile your event on the London 2012 'Join In' event listings and access to exclusive competitions.
Community Celebration Packs
The London 2012 Community Celebration Pack is designed to provide community and voluntary groups with the chance to create the official 'Look and Feel' of the Olympics at an affordable price.
The packs cost £99 and include:
- 50 hand flags
- Two x 15m bunting strings
- One flag and flagpole kit
- One banner
Garden for the Games
People are being encouraged to plant window boxes, put up hanging baskets or even plant a mini-meadow to celebrate the games and bring communities together.
