Council garages, store sheds, motor cycle units and bicycle lockers
Anyone can rent a council garage, store shed, motor cycle unit or bicycle locker although priority is given to estate residents. In areas of low demand, we will also let garages for the purpose of general storage.

After your application
Once you have applied you will be put on the relevant estate waiting lists. Applications are dealt with strictly by priority and then date order. Unfortunately we can not let you know how long it will be before a garage or a store shed becomes available.
If you receive an offer for a garage,store shed, motor cycle unit or bicycle locker you must let us know whether it is suitable or not within 7 days. If you fail to do this your name will be removed from the waiting list.
Charges
Charges vary and you will be advised of the rent charged when you are offered a garage,store shed, motor cycle unit or bicycle locker. VAT is also charged in some circumstances.
